Breakfast Plan Packages; Early & Late Summer Stays

Offered May 23 – June 13 and August 21 – September 27, 2025

Fair Hills is open from Memorial Day Weekend through the end of September, always welcoming vacation stays.  May 23 – June 13 is our Early Summer Season.  August 21 – September 27 is our Late Summer Season.  During our Early & Late Summer Seasons, we offer our Breakfast Plan Package and all resort amenities.  Early and Late Summer Season is a beautiful time to visit Pelican Lake and enjoy a quieter Fair Hills experience.

Rates Include:

  For All Rates:

  • All rates are per person based on age
  • Rates Include: breakfast daily, your cabin, maid service and resort amenities
  • No Minimum Night Stay (2 nights preferred)
  • 7.375% Sales Tax: Please add 6.875% MN sales tax and .5% Otter Tail County sales tax.

  The Breakfast Plan Packages is our base package and offered over the dates of May 23 – June 13 and August 21 – September 27, 2024.   The Breakfast Plan Package includes a daily hot breakfast buffet, your cabin and access to all the resort amenities.  If you are looking for a stay from June 14 – August 20, please refer to our all inclusive packages.

• Reservation Requirements to Confirm Booking

  Guest information required for each registered guest

  • Full Name
  • Address, Phone Number & Email (required for guests ages 18+)
  • Birthdate
  • Hometown
  • Number of Years to Fair Hills

  Billing Set-up:  one of three options for lodging & incidental charges

  • One Bill – all charges for all guests on one bill
  • Lodging & Incidentals separate – all lodging charges on one bill, incidentals on individual bills by cabin
  • Each cabin bill separate – each for lodging & incidental charges
• Deposit & Payments

  All deposits & payments follow the person for which they are made.

  Deposits are due by January 15, or within 7 days of making your reservation (whichever is later.)  1/3 of the total stay is due to confirm.

  Final counts & guest registration is due 90 days prior to arrival, when full payment is due.  Guests may be added anytime prior to arrival, if availability exists.  Guests canceled less than 90 days to arrival date are subject to cancellation policy.  Or, you may send another party of the same size to stay in your place without penalty.

  Changes to Length of Stay 

  • Adding nights – can be done anytime, always based on availability
  • Subtracting nights
    • More than 90 days to arrival – no penalty
    • Less than 90 days to arrival – stay will be charged at full length
• Cancellations

  Cancelled more than 90 days to arrival:  2/3 of the deposit is refundable, 1/3 of the deposit is forfeit.

  Cancelled less than 90 days to arrival: payment is non-refundable

• Additional Information & Policies

  Rates

  To lock in the rates you receive when booking, you must pay your deposit and final balance on, or before, the due dates.  Late payments will forfeit your booking rate and default to the current published rate, which could be higher than when you booked. 

  Uncontrollable Forces

  Following 2020, we are keenly aware that there are issues that may arise which can result in the closure of the resort, or significant decrease in our ability to offer our full services.

  • In the event that a natural disaster or mandated restrictions leaves the resort closed during your scheduled stay, we ask that you consider rolling your deposit to a stay either later in the season or to the immediate next season.  However, your deposit would be refunded if requested.
  • This same policy applies to a situation where the health guidelines limit us to to-go only dining and/or no group activities, and you don’t want to experience the resort under those circumstances.
  • If the resort is able to be open during unique circumstances, we will do everything in our power to give you an amazing vacation experience. If you are unsatisfied with your experience, we will come up with a mutually agreeable solution.

  Pet Policy

  Sorry, pets are not allowed at Fair Hills. If you would like some assistance finding a kennel while you are visiting us, we will provide a list of very capable boarders for you.  Service animals are welcome.

  Tipping

  Tipping is not allowed at Fair Hills.

  Service Charge

  A 15% service charge is INCLUDED in all published rates.  This service charge is not a gratuity and it is not the property of employees. Rather, at the discretion of Fair Hills management, employees may receive a bonus at the end of the season from Fair Hills.

  Travel Insurance

  We realize and appreciate the risks that our guests assume by traveling, and we recommend trip insurance as a way to protect your travel investment.  If you believe it could be likely that something could come up that prevents you from taking your vacation as planned, we recommend that you research trip insurance to protect your payments.  There are many companies and packages out there, we encourage you to research and pick the best for your family circumstances.
