We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the entire experience was as seamless as a wedding can be. They provided us with so much helpful information well in advance, which made planning so much easier and far less stressful. A huge highlight was the amazing day-of coordinator, Liz, who worked with us for months leading up to the big day. Her attention to detail and calm, helpful presence made all the difference. We truly felt supported throughout the entire process. The resort staff throughout the day were all so positive, helpful, and professional. This includes the front desk staff, big pelican boat driver, servers, bar tenders, and more! The location itself is absolutely beautiful. We loved that everything was on site, from our ceremony and cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing but in different locations so it felt like guests were going to new places throughout the day! This made the day feel so relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. One of our favorite parts was that our guests could all stay in cabins right on the resort. Even better, we got to choose who stayed where, so families and friend groups could be together, which made the weekend feel so connected and special. It was truly the perfect setting for the best weekend of our lives. We’re so grateful and would 100% recommend Fair Hills to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run place to celebrate! They absolutely know what they are doing!

We cannot recommend having your wedding at Fair Hills enough. We would not change a thing about our wedding or the wonderful weekend spent there. There was clear, direct, and friendly communication from the beginning. The Wedding and Events director is incredible at her job and answered all of our questions, provided excellent recommendations, and prompted planning and timeline details that we had not even thought about. The food was great, drinks were served without hassle, and we were able to utilize multiple different spaces at the resort which were all beautiful and expertly set up by Fair Hills staff throughout the weekend. The ability to have our guests stay at the resort with us was a huge draw for us and was so worth it--and proved to be a hit with our guests as well. To be able to continue the celebration with golf, water activities, pickleball, and everything else the resort has to offer made it that much more fun. Also, coming together for breakfast in the morning was a highlight for us. The location also allows for easy access to all the wonderful vendors, DJs, stylists, etc., in Fargo and there were no issues coordinating arrival or set up. We will forever be thankful for the resort and all they did for us and our guests!

Fair hills is the best place to have a cabin wedding weekend. We got married in a Friday with 150 guests and had 60ish people stay through Sunday. Fair hills has so many activities for guests that I didn’t need to plan activities for Saturday and everyone had a blast. We got married in the lakeside gardens and I got to come into the ceremony on my old ski boat with my dad. Then left with my husband. It was incredible. After the dance we had 40 or so people jump into the lake with us. If you are looking for a wedding full of incredible moments and memories, this is the place for you. The venue has so much charter and charm I needed to do minimal decor. The food was delicious. Especially the squash ravioli. Very flexible to plan with. Liz is great to plan with. Had so many people tell me it was the best wedding of their lives.

Liz and the Fair Hills Team made our wedding this year in June 2023 absolutely incredible. Liz was very in tune to my vision for the day and gave great suggestions based on that. The food is provided by the resort and it was delicious! Our guests loved that they could stay on the property as this was a destination wedding for our families. The fair hills team are all so friendly and make you feel like family. I wish we had known about this resort sooner, as I’m sure there are more vacations to come after our memorable wedding weekend. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a fun, laid back, lake side love story. I had absolutely no worries going into my wedding day. I knew the team would do a phenomenal job. I can’t say enough positive things about Fair Hills Resort. Liz was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. The staff was so friendly to us and our guests. The venue is gorgeous, but the food was a big stand out. My husband and I still talk about how good the mac & cheese was at our wedding. Liz was super flexible on what food we picked and made sure to include our favorite desserts. We received so many compliments on how perfect our wedding venue was; some of our guests are even planning to return for future vacations! Fair Hills Resort was an absolute dream! The entire staff was extremely easy to work with, well organized, and had great communication. We were planning on having an outdoor ceremony and on the day of the wedding it was down pouring. The wedding coordinator was in touch with me all through the day and made me feel at ease. They were able to switch from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor ceremony with no problems and told me they’ll be watching the radar. Right before the ceremony, the sun came out and we were able to have the ceremony outside. It was so nice to have a venue that knew how to handle anything because it allowed me to focus on the day and enjoy every minute. I have had multiple guests text and call saying how great their experience was with Fair Hills and how they can’t wait to go back for a summer vacation. I cannot say enough good things about staff. Truly supportive and wonderful people.

Their wedding Coordinator Liz was AMAZING she handled everything helped us walk through some customization items and what we could and couldn’t do, she had everything lined up perfect for us. We were NOT an easy couple with dozens of e-mails and requests that certainly were not textbook or easy. We wanted everything under the sun our way and Liz found a way to make it all happen perfectly.

I could not have asked for a more perfect day! Our wedding coordinator, Liz made the entire wedding planning process smooth and was more than accommodating to our special requests! The lake view venue was spectacular and made for the most romantic backdrop to marry my best friend and created the most fun environment for our guests. From the first look at the top of the golf course to the spectacular pontoon boat ride for our guests, fair hills on pelican lake is the perfect wedding venue any couple could ask for!

If you are looking for a place where all of your guests can stay at the location of your wedding, then Fair Hills is the place to have your wedding! We got married over Labor Day weekend and most of our guests stayed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights which was awesome because we were able to have so much quality time with our guests. We had our rehearsal dinner on the deck on Saturday evening and then our wedding on Sunday, it was great because everyone was able to park their cars and just stay at Fair Hills for the weekend! Our guests are still talking about how much they had to do over the weekend, we played golf, had a volleyball and pickle-ball tournament, went kayaking, and rented ski boats. We had so much fun all weekend and the wedding topped off our already amazing weekend! Everything went off with no problems the entire weekend, it was great! I would highly recommend having your wedding at Fair Hills!

We had our wedding at Fair Hills Resort – Fair Hills is a very beautiful and rustic venue – and quite large. We had around 200 guests. They fit nicely in the pavilion (which is right on the lake) for the ceremony and the dining hall (up on a hill) where we had our reception and a jazz / cocktail band. The resort is right on the lake and very, very beautiful!! There are cabins at the resort as well, for your guests to stay if they wish. If you like the beautiful state of Minnesota and want a venue that gives you that ”lake setting” feel – Fair Hills is definitely the place to have your wedding!! I can’t say enough great words about the staff!! Beth communicated with us quite often during the planning stage (we had a 8 month long engagement) – by email and then we did meet in person a few times too. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The morning of as we were getting some decorations set up in the reception – I had a few last-minute changes (setup for the reception) and the staff was very accommodating and got right on it! The food and dessert was excellent!! We highly recommend you stay in a cabin at the resort on the wedding night – as noted before, Fair Hills is a very beautiful resort that is right on the lake and the cabins are very up-to-date! We will definitely go there again and stay on our future anniversaries!
