Stay at Fair Hills Resort

Since 1926, the Kaldahl family has made it their goal to provide excellent, fun and memorable vacations on the beautiful shores of Pelican Lake. From the moment you make your reservation, you’re a part of our vacation family and that is how we want you to feel: like family!  Fair Hills Resort is open from mid-May through the end of September.

We offer two seasons & types of stays;

Both seasons are great times to come and experience Fair Hills Resort.  Depending on what style vacation and when you’d like to come, we have a vacation for you!

Breakfast Plan Early & Late Summer Season:

Memorial Weekend through June 13 and August 21 through September 27

During this stay season, Fair Hills offers our Breakfast Plan so you can start your day off with us in the Dining Room and then be in charge of the rest of your day.  You have access to all resort amenities and can stay as busy or as relaxed as you’d like.  Typically the resort is quieter during these times, often also hosting conference groups or events.  It’s a great time to also explore the Detroit Lakes area or organize a group of your own!

All Inclusive Mid-Summer Vacation Season:

June 14 – August 21, 2025

All Inclusive family vacations are our specialty.  During this vacation season, we cook, clean for and entertain you. At Fair Hills, you can be as active or as relaxed as you’d like. We can keep you going, going, going or provide you with a warm, shady spot to rest and relax. Kids can be kids once again. With no TVs in our cabins, they will get outside and run and play all day. Adults can be kids too! Our family activities cater to all ages, but they are not age specific. Tennis, pickleball, golf, swimming, sailing and water skiing lessons are included during our family season. Everyone can play golf and tennis or jump off the tower and paddle boat around the lake. Our vacations have something for everyone and everything is here for you. Enjoy the good life at Fair Hills!
