Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway, an all-inclusive family vacation, a beautiful course for a round of golf, or an amazing event venue…
The Fair Hills Family of properties has something for everyone.
Summer 2020 has definitely been one for the history books! The Coronavirus pandemic postponed all of our fantastic plans we had for the summer – we had the best hootenanny all ready! We continue to send well wishes that you and your family manage to stay safe and healthy this year. Even though we haven’t been able to see everyone, we were so thankful that Fair Hills Resort was able to open up and welcome guests back to the shores of Pelican Lake. As our staff and guests have adjusted to some new, temporary changes at the resort, we’ve continued to witness wonderful family memories being made this summer.
2020 has provided us with incredibly beautiful weather – sunny days, cool breezes, and crystal clear night skies, with a few overnight summer thunderstorms. Plus, Rec Director Barb has whipped up a fun, creative, and SAFE activities schedule for all ages! Guest favorites like the waterslide and torpedo rides are back! At arts & crafts, you can make a mask out of a Fair Hills walking club t-shirt. At Open Mic night, you can tell a joke or sing a song into a mini-mask wearing microphone. There are golf tournaments galore! And you can still play the classics, like Bingo and Trivia, spread out on the deck as the sun sets on Pelican Lake.
Guests from the first half of the summer have appreciated our staff’s above-and-beyond efforts to make safety and sanitation a top priority this year while still providing a top-notch experience. On our survey, one guest commented, “Thank you for working so hard to be open this year and for providing us with an exceptional experience! Early on, we thought our experience might be so compromised that we felt like we were following through with our plans primarily to help keep FH afloat, but we truly had a fabulous week! The place and the people—that’s what we love most—and that was still (mostly) there. Thank you for singing in the dining hall—it wouldn’t have been FH without at least a little singing. Hats off to you all for pulling off 2020, and deep appreciation from all of us!”
