At Fair Hills Resort, we believe that a family sharing a great meal together is one of the most important ingredients in a happy vacation. For over 100 years, our kitchen has been at the heart of the Fair Hills experience—bringing guests together around tables filled with scratch-made meals, fresh-baked goods, and traditions that span generations.
Our culinary team does more than cook and bake—they create the flavors and experiences that turn vacations into lifelong memories. On any given day, our kitchen prepares meals for anywhere from 2 to 250 guests, serving families on vacation as well as special events and gatherings.
We are seeking Seasonal Cooks to join our team and assist our chefs with daily preparation and service.
What You’ll Do:
Assist chefs with daily food prep, including chopping, baking, and scratch-made recipe preparation
Help execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in a high-volume kitchen
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Support dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning when needed
Work collaboratively with the entire culinary and service team
The majority of our menu is made from scratch, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on culinary experience in a dynamic resort setting.
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to handle high volume in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Willingness to learn and take direction
Good work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to a fun, hardworking environment
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to grow their skills.
Schedule & Season:
This is a seasonal position running from May/June through September. For the right candidate, there is opportunity to return year after year as part of our extended Fair Hills family.
The Experience:
Working in the Fair Hills kitchen means being part of something bigger than a meal—it’s being part of birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, and weeklong family traditions. You’ll gain valuable culinary experience while contributing to a century-long legacy of hospitality.
If you enjoy working hard, learning new skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in feeding families well, we’d love to have you join our culinary team this season.
