The results are in, and voters have selected Fair Hills Resort as a 2025 Minnesota’s Best Gold, Silver, and Bronze Winner!
Five Lakes Resort and Wildflower Golf Course named Bronze Winners!
Detroit Lakes, MN July 15, 2025 — Fair Hills Resort has been voted a 2025 Minnesota’s Best Gold winner in the category of Summer Resort. Fair Hills Resort also took home Silver in the category of Resort and Boat Cruises. Rounding out the awards this family owned and operated resort won were Bronze finishes for Family Getaway and Group Getaway. Five Lakes Resort which has been owned and operated by the family since 1976 took home Bronze for Vacation Rentals. Wildflower Golf Course, across the road from Fair Hills Resort, was opened by the family in 1993. This year Wildflower took Bronze in the category of Golf Course. Minnesota’s Best is Minnesota’s premier readers’ choice award program and is open to all Minnesota businesses large and small. There is no cost to be nominated, voted for, or to win this contest. The contest, which started in 2021, continues to rise in popularity with a 5% increase in votes vs. 2024.
