Saturday at Fair Hills

Hello! I am a happy Fair Hills guest, who helps with the blog. My family and I stayed at Fair Hills exactly 2 week ago. I thought it would be fun to post-vacation blog posts to track our fun for anyone who might be wondering what it’s like to stay at Fair Hills…

Today is Saturday and we have finally arrived at Fair Hills. We are so excited. Our cabin is very near the pool and lodge. In fact, I can actually access WiFi from the cabin, which is nice because I know I’ll need to check into work occasionally.

We arrive at 5:00 – which meant we had an hour to play before dinner. So, what did we do? Threw on the swim suits and jumped into the hot tub. We relaxed until the bell ring for dinner.

I have to talk a little bit about the food – and then I won’t bring it up again. One word – wowee! We had a choice for soup or salad, 1 or 4 entrees, which usually included one fish, one meat, and one kid-themed meal, and a choice of 2 desserts. For breakfast my kids love to order a special-shaped pancake – but the chef has yet to be stumped. This year we had a monkey pancake, swan shaped, elephant and more.

At night we joined the Family Bingo. Two of us won.
